My Rating: 3.5 out of 5 stars
First, I like the mention that the pages are not exactly in "order". As you know, the Japanese read their pages from right to left. And US reads from the left to right. So, the print version of this manga is the combination of both. At first, I was confused when the panels didn't make sense when I was reading from left to right. Then I had an "Aha" moment. You have to read from right to left on each page. Not a major issue but to make sure you are aware. Secondly, not a fan of the font. The font sort of look like the drawings and tend to get lost in the panels because of the lack of distinction. Very scribbly.
Other than those two things, the quality of the print version is pretty good. The pages are a decent quality. The size of the manga is slightly larger than the usual manga. As an artist, the artwork is cute and eye pleasing. The guys are definitely hotties. The girl is ditzy, but sweet with a good heart. With being only the first volume with 3 chapters, there wasn't much going on just yet. The plot was more of setting up their back histories and defining the characters' personalities. That's the main reason I couldn't give it a higher rating just yet. It didn't draw me in but I am interested to see what happens in volume 2.
Since I don't want to get the e-manga, I appreciate Amazon for providing a print version. However, if you are like me and want to get this book format, I suggest waiting. Like I said, I'm reserving judgment and hoping the next volume's plot heats up with a new character introduction. If you can get the e-manga version, go for it. The price is reasonable for the content.
