Triplets Find a Mom by Annie Jones

This is a first for me.  This is the first time I reviewed the books I've read 3 times in a row.  Never said they were the best reviews but I did it.  No reason except I have a lot more free time on my hands and my mind has the chance to roam.  I have ideas rolling around my head for a new story for my many mangas, but I cannot get off my butt to do it.  We shall see.  If I ever do it, I'll post up the first page here.  But don't hold your breath.  >_<

Title: Triplets Find A Mom
Author: Annie Jones
Publisher: Harlequin
Line: Love Inspired
ISBN: 9780373877294

My Rating: 4 out of 5 stars

Sam Goodacre was a widower, raising his triplet girls.  Sam had two rules that everyone had to follow: no matchmaking and no dogs.  That even included the pretty new teacher, Polly Bennett, and her adorable rescued puppy.  However, Sam's rules won't stop these triplets from making Polly their new mommy.

There are some books that you just breeze through and end with a satisfy smile on your face.  And "Triplets Find a Mom" was one of them.  All the characters were absolutely charming and easily drew you into their wholesome, small town life.  Everyone was nice and personable.  Polly was an inspirational heroine, who was not too proud to admit her own weaknesses and knew to push Sam's buttons.  Sam was a pain at times since his character development was stunted.  So his quick turn around at the end seem out of place but his generosity and love for his children made up for that.  And the girls were absolute sweeties.  The chapters were short and sweet, making reading a breeze.  The plot was simple without any drama.  A perfect, light read for a stressful day.  Or for any day, really.

The only reason I gave the book 4 stars was because I would probably not read it again.  Still, the novel was a pleasure to have read and I really did enjoy it immensely.  If you like a good Christian romance, with children, animals and no drama, get this book.  Looking for something to unwind with?  This is it.  If you do not like children in your romance, the girls were an integral part of the story.  Anything else?  I suggest looking else where.
