3.5" USB 2.0 External Black Enclosure Review

Title: 3.5" USB 2.0 External Black Enclosure
My Rating: 5 out of 5 stars

I like to preface this review by admitting that when there is anything wrong with my computer, I'm like a chicken without its head.  So, that is why I had to write a review for the few people like me, who is just a tad technology-challenged. You see, a few years ago, I shelled out $100 to the Geek Squad to retrieve my lost data.  And this was the price with the membership.  Considering I couldn't afford for them to get everything, it was a little disappointing.  So, before you spend that cash and you are capable of safely removing your hard drive, give this a try first.

My computer of 7 years gave its last breath a week ago.  (Reason: The motherboard was fried.)  I had performed back-ups in the past, but not recently.  What to do?  Fortunately, I have a co-worker, who knew how to retrieve my data.  He did the research and told me to order this enclosure.  The enclosure and its pieces arrived in a white cardboard box.  There were easy to follow instructions but you really don't need it.  It was pretty straightforward just by looking at it. Putting it together took less than 7 minutes.  My hard drive went in with no problems and when plugged into my new PC, it found the drive without a hitch. I got everything I want to transfer off pretty quickly to another computer. So happy.

This enclosure is for the SATA 3.5 hard drive.  I can't comment on the durability just yet but I will update this review if there any changes.  I plan on leaving my drive in the enclosure for safekeeping and store it away.  All in all, for the price, quality and it actually works, this is the enclosure to buy.  I highly recommend this.
