The Keys for Love Review

Title: The Keys for Love
Author: Wendy Sotis
Publisher: Amazon
ISBN: 9781497441125
My Rating: 4 out of 5 stars

William Darcy was on a forced vacation at his beach house in the Florida Keys when he meets the irresistible house-sitter next door, Elizabeth Bennet.  Elizabeth stole his heart at first sight but will his pride allow him to find love with her?

This was a really good short story.  If you are looking for a contemporary variation that is similar to the original, this wasn't quite it.  But there was enough of the main elements to make it familiar and the characters' personalities remain pretty much the same, despite the fact that their roles have changed.  Think of it as an alternate universe.  The plot was well-paced and there were no loose ends.  The romance felt a little rushed but to be expected.  And as bonus, there were no Lydia and Wickham drama!  All in all, a satisfying read.

If you are a fan of contemporary P&P variation and not a stickler about accuracy, don't hesitate to get this one.  The price was reasonable  for both the e-book and print and it was a quick read.  The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because I wouldn't read it again but definitely worth my time.
