This is a majorly cute lion design.  Naturally, the appearance is more for me than the baby.  We also own the frog seat, and my nephew doesn’t seem to notice the difference.  The padding is not bad.  My nephew doesn’t seem to complain when he is in there.  Personally for me, when you press your hand against the back, it’s pretty thin.  The floor seat is easy to clean.  The fabric seat can be detached from the frame and toss it in the washer.  And voila, it is clean and pretty easy to put back on. 

I don’t have much experience in handling babies and have a hard time getting the baby into the seat.  His feet always catch in the leg holes and I have to get someone to grab his feet so they go through the holes.  More experienced handlers will find this part easier.

There are two purpose that we use this chair for – entertainment and to feed him.  He entertains himself by slapping the tray or with the two linkable toys (the toys can always be exchanged).  I place toys on the tray too.  This will give us at least 10 minutes of quickly getting things done or heating up his bottle.  The kick ‘n squeak feet were not the hit I was expecting.  My nephew loves noisy things and he is probably still too young to understand how to use it.   He is already tall for his age and his legs are probably going to be too long to play with it.  So, it is a little redundant.  Next, this is a quick fix for a “high chair” that we use also to feed him.  At our house, it is a little more convenient than buying or lugging around a high chair.  The tray is easy to detach and it snaps back on.  Easy to clean by wiping it down or putting the tray in the dishwasher. 

Now for some technical stuff.  Recommended for children up to 25 lbs and are able to hold their heads.  The head of the seat reaches to the shoulders and offers no real back support from the shoulder and up. Dimension of the hole you place the child into is about 9 x 8 inches in circumference.

I love it.  It’s so useful.  He is still able to see what is going on, he is entertained by the toys and be able to use to tray to feed himself in the future.  Decent price.  Cute as can be.  Definitely recommend this seat with the tray.
